She has interest in supporting female identifying adults with new ADHD diagnoses as well as working with clients who have experienced medical trauma, bereavement, and post traumatic stress. Jeni is passionate about working with parents of children diagnosed with cancer and other medical complexities. She has co-facilitated a peer led Parent Rising group through Max Love Project and Rett’s Roost that uses Internal Family Systems to help support the healing of caregivers of children diagnosed with cancer and other life threatening illnesses, and continues to offer individual support for caregivers. Jeni is bilingual in Spanish, and has provided bilingual individual psychotherapy to clients in both outpatient and residential settings who are recovering from addiction, trauma, mental illness and other chronic illnesses.
Jeni pivoted her career to pursue being a therapist after teaching middle and high school Spanish and working as a bilingual interpreter for a community health center serving the migrant farmworker population.
