About Emily Neuburger MAT, MS, LMHC
(she/her/hers)
I work with people across the lifespan to help them explore patterns, gain deeper understanding into their lives and move towards desired changes. I specialize in using play and art therapy to work with children and adolescents who are encountering emotional challenges at home, school and with identity formation. I also have a strong interest in working with adults seeking support with life transitions, parenting, relationships, anxiety and grief. I practice with a trauma focused lens where I recognize the way past trauma can manifest both emotionally and physically. I welcome using art therapy interventions with adults as desired.
Offering the following approaches:

Consultation
I have been offering my experiential and hands on Creative Spark expressive arts workshops for the past 15 years. These project based programs are perfect for schools, grant funded organizations, therapists, libraries, museums, universities/colleges, and more. Each workshop is infused with encouragement and confidence building while helping to nurture and expand each person’s creative inclinations. With an experiential focus, I offer actionable skills and strategies which participants can choose to incorporate into their lives as desired. Programs can be in-person or virtual.
I offer individual consultation sessions with other therapists both in person and virtually. I enjoy consulting on a wide range of case content, and I specialize in art and/or play therapy consultation for therapists looking to incorporate play, expressive art, and/or creative mindfulness interventions into their therapy practice.
Emily’s Books
My award winning books are filled with art prompts, storytelling techniques, and guidance, which can all be applied to therapeutic practice. I believe in arts accessibility, which means that most projects use recycled, affordable, and easily sourced materials.
